Creating special moments through calligraphy.
Technology at your fingertips, social media notifications pulling at your attention, automated apps, and smart-phone synced devices –– we’re inundated by our online world. As humans, we crave that which is tangible; not just from a physical sense, but from an intimate, emotional, and relational sense. Authentic, memorable moments that connect us to other humans, face-to-face and ear-to-ear.
In-Person, Live Calligraphy
In-person, live calligraphy is a small service with a big impact. I help you elevate your customer and gift-giving experiences, while also standing out and making a lasting impression.
Personalized.
True personalization, hand-crafted by me, right in front of you. It’s the perfect way to turn an item into something unique. It’s a way of saying, “There’s only one of these, and it’s yours.”
Intentional.
Intention matters. Crafting your items in person creates beautiful moments...this is where the magic happens.
Connected.
Small actions that make the biggest impact on experience. Connecting with you is something I value.
Meet the Artist
Dawn McMaster
There’s something about the ability to watch an artist at work; something we experience less of as our lives are more and more online. When we see the intricacies of the craft, we grow a deeper appreciation for the art of the creation. Not only that, but when that item includes a name –– a friend’s name, a loved one’s name, our name –– we are brought into that moment and become one with the experience.
While personalization of an item has always shown the receiver that you’ve gone the extra mile, creating these opportunities in people’s lives are where memories are born. When I can sit, look you in the face, strike up a conversation, and create an intimate experience around my craft, you are there with me. The name I engrave, the message I scribe, become part of an elevated experience that goes with the item into time. I don’t just hand-letter to make it special, I create special moments through hand-lettering.
Memories are born from experience.
